Iron Sights Media LLC was created in honor of my great-grandfather (Pepa), Carl Hixon Hill, who served in the Navy as a war photographer during World War II. The raw photos he was able to capture and develop during wartime serve as a reminder of what photography truly is: capturing reality and preserving it.
All photos or videos by ISM are taken in the real world, through a lens, in real time. While AI might assist in editing, I neither use nor sell AI-generated or prompted imagery. The art of photography and videography, to me, is about recognizing moments that already exist and preserving them as they are. In the same spirit, Iron Sights Media intentionally operates outside the noise of social media algorithms. At the moment, my work lives here and on Etsy. My focus remains on production, services & relationships rather than trends, feeds, timelines or fleeting attention. Currently I offer personal, real estate and commercial photography / videography. 
As for me, I'm a Floridian native to Brevard County. I have a deep passion for our state ecosystems, wildlife and unique landscapes. I am a huge fan of Florida's scrublands and our endemic scrubjay. As a local and a veteran, I also have a deep respect for our country, our community and organizations that help us thrive and live as Americans. That same respect shapes how I approach my work: grounded, intentional, and built on trust.
I have always had an innate talent for vision, whether it be through a lens or software. My mission is to share that vision with the world through creatives that help make your home, business and memories feel truly special. I strive to produce authentic media that evokes emotion and captures those who encounter it - preserving the craft exactly as Pepa did.
